Aquabiofilter is a
point-of-entry water filtering unit suitable for whole home and small
business filtration of water supplies.
It is also suitable for field application in settings where simple
and effective water filtration is required to create a safe, potable supply
of water.
The Process
The Aquabiofilter
attaches to the main water line.
Water flowing into the unit, enters an initial chamber, where it flows
through a patented membrane,.
This membrane removes all harmful particles of 0.8 microns or larger in
size, including cryptosporidium and other bacteria.
After passing across the membrane, water enters a collection chamber
and then returns to the main water line via the exit chamber.
A silt discharge valve enables periodic flushing of the chamber.
Depending on water quality the patented filter needs replacing every
six to twelve months.
