The Process
Filterfuge™
effectively and economically handles a variety of waste sludge, producing an end
product that is suitable for drying, direct land application, or incineration,
depending on the type of sludge involved.
The Filterfuge™
process pumps liquid waste directly onto a rotating centrifuge drum.
As the drum rotates it propels the sludge against a filter.
The centrifugal force of the rotating drum causes the sludge to slide
down alongside the filter liner, separating solids from liquids.
As the dewatered sludge
compacts on the side of the drum, it forms a cake.
Two scrapers push the cake into a receptor/auger system, after which it
is discharged from the system.
